We offer free peer-supported meetings across Canada, both in person and online, for individuals and for friends and family members. Our programs can be used on their own or alongside other supports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SMART Recovery supports people in building skills and confidence to make positive changes. Participants choose their own goals and the approaches that work best for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SMART Recovery is based on shared experience and mutual support. Many participants find strength in both receiving and offering support as they move toward a balanced, fulfilling life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SMART Recovery is led by trained volunteers, including facilitators and our Board of Directors. Facilitators come from diverse backgrounds and may have lived experience or a desire to support others in their communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meetings and online services are offered at no cost. Donations support our work. We accept funding only when it aligns with our mission and values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SMART Recovery uses evidence-based tools grounded in cognitive-behavioural and motivational approaches, guided by our 4-Point Program\u00ae:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
